Who I see

I work with adult (18+) individuals and partners/couples.

My typical individual client is looking to understand a tricky life transition, a confusing relational dynamic, how to juggle multiple stressors, or deep-dive into a specific part of their identity.

This client may be experiencing some anxiety, depression, fear, trauma or hesitance, and could use some help identifying triggers and managing emotional overwhelm.

Therapy for this person may be a sounding board, an effective deep-dive into a specific obstacle or challenge, or a skill-building experience to better manage emotional dysregulation.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I work to gently (and technically) explore a client’s human experience with them to identify areas of growth and repair.

Contact Me

For couples/partner work, I typically work with clients who are experiencing a level of disconnect in their relationship or are facing a significant hardship (cultural, fertility, or situational issues). These clients can be experiencing frequent and repetitive arguments, a mismatch of life goals (i.e., not seeing eye-to-eye), familial pressure, fears about the future, young adulthood challenges (early parenting), or are seeking to reinvigorate their relationship - find the flame again, so to say.

As a person of color and a first-gen American, I understand the intricacies of the intersectionalities of our identities and work to encourage an empathetic exploration of identity.

Experience

Over the 5+ years of practicing, I've had the privilege of working with adults from many different backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. I've supported clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, grief, chronic stress, and the unique experience of navigating multiple cultures and expectations. Those coming in with previous diagnoses, and those just figuring it out. These experiences have reinforced my belief that effective therapy isn't about having all the answers—it's about creating a space where people feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and supported as they move toward the life they want to build. My work is informed by evidence-based practices, multicultural humility, and the understanding that every person's story deserves an approach that is as unique as they are.
